Advertisment:
It's a lovely coppery orange colour with a thin but lively white head which gives off quite a bit of spicy pepper with a hint of malty sweetness lingering in the background, like a caramel covered biscuit I would say. This isn't one of the most powerfully tasting IPA's I've ever drank, but if it was then it wouldn't be anywhere near as quaff-able as it is, plenty of spicy hops and citrus comes through with a moderately bitter drying finish. It's lightly bodied and the level of carbonation gives a pleasant and refreshing tingly mouth feel. A good refreshing and drinkable beer that, I think, would be perfectly suited to some spicy barbecued chicken on warm sunny afternoon or evening. It's beer I'll be buying more of for sure!
