This bitter triumph of brewmanship is reddish in color and has 5.5 % alcohol content, which is accompanied by a strong hoppy bitterness with a malty touch. The colonial masters of the 19th century were thirsty for their homeland ales far away in India. The boat voyage took months, so the high alcohol and hop contents provided a natural protection for the ales. This is how India Pale Ale came about, and we're proud to follow in the footsteps of this historic trendsetter.
