Hancock Black Lager er som vore andre mørke øl brygget med lagermalt. Dette giver i modsætning til pilsnermalt en mørkere farve, samt en mere fyldig øl. På trods af den større fylde, er alkoholstyrken den samme som vor pilsnerøl, Høker Bajer. Det tager mindst 90 dage at lave en Hancock Black Lager. Hancock Black Lager fåes på 33 cl. flasker, og som upasteuriseret fadøl på 15 og 30 ltr. fustager.
