For an easier ocomparison of the different European beer types I have created an overview. The beer type list shows the beer types of only so far added beers. Though it is not complete. The most difficult thing was to differ between the UK Ale and the German Wheat Beer as I think a Wheat Beer is not an ale as an ale is top fermented beer. Anyway, I hope the list helpes to distinguish between the different types. Comments are welcome.

You know about a great brewing congress or fair? Than it's up to you to show it on Lautering.net! We want to you post them on the forum. Once they are validated we bring them up at the Brewing Event Calendar. Most important validation criteria is: The event should not be a drinking party only, like the Oktoberfest.

Some of the Brewery URL's were corrupted. They contained replacement patterns instead of the country / province name. We're currently working on this and I hope to get a solution till the end of the week. Until we have solved it we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Blog and Beer URL's showing up at Twitter are not affected.
