Description of continous malting Systems

In malt houses different system for the production of malt are used, divided in half and full continuous production Systems. These Systems differ from each other in the period spent in the individual stations and whether the process is flowing or not.
One of the half continuous Systems is the Moving-pile, the Towermalting. A orerunner of the full-continuous Systems is the moving -, germ -, kiln box. The full continuous Systems consists of the Domalt syste, Wandering heap, Chevalier system and the Saturn system. One difference is the automatic malting process in regards of vertical and horizontal Systems. Malting Systems like Rötzier, Kling, Neubert, Graff and Chevalier-Martin operate In vertical direction, while the domalt, horizontaliy arranged, is the chain pile like Ostertag and the Saturn system.
