Production, packaging, types and usage of hop extracts

Hop is one of the important raw materials in producing beer. Hop or hop products are given in all kinds of beer. Besides the foam improving qualities hop is used primarily because of his distinctive taste and flavour components. For the consumer the hop is the quality-defining factor, straight at pale beers of the Pilsner type. For this reason it is obvious for the brewer to use only the best quality. By the use of better and better technology, increasing quality claims and automated brewing plants hardly any nature hop is used. Therefore improved hop products like hop extract always gain more acceptances. In the following work the production, packing and qualities of different hop extracts being introduced. Chief attention lies on ethanol-, liquid CO2- and super critical CO2 extracts.
