The Guinness storehouse

I'm planing a trip to Dublin in September and I want to visit the Guinness storehouse. Are they showing the actual brewery or a designed tour for tourist? I heared that the sight from the tower must be great but there are always a lot of tourists. Is there a prefered time?

Oh man, forget about the

Oh man, forget about the Guinness brewery. You'll never see the production site or get near the brewing process. It's a well designed tour for the tourists, nothing special. The sight is great but you'll have to be lucky with the weather. Anyway, Guinness isn't my beer.

The Guinness Storehouse is one of the most visited sights in Dublin. If you have the chance get there. Enjoy the tour and of course your stout at the Gravity Bar.

It's not a must see, but you'll have a great sight depending on the weather. I'll suggest visiting the Jameson distillery http://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/ . Sometimes Cuilan is brewing at the Messrs Maguire http://www.messrsmaguire.ie/ from time to time. You'll could taste his beers at the pub.
