Lagerbeer (short Lager) is a bottom fermented beer which is maturated and stored (in German: lagern) for a longer time. In Germany and Austria the term Lager isn't used that much anymore because there are Pils, Helles, Märzen, etc.

Saimann Yöväsi Dark lager on the table. Nice dark body with white / brownish fine foam. Foam stays for a decent amount of time. Color is claimed to be 79 EBC. It is more in the range of 50 to 60 I guess. Haven't had my color charts for comparison with me while enjoying it. Nice sweet malty flavour, with a decent light bitterness. No off-flavours. The body doesn't life up to it. Pretty watery for a lager. Carbonation is in range.

Another organic from the
Another organic from the Saimaan brewery. Pretty dark on white / light brownish foam - poured from a can. Malty character. Middle texture with sweetness. Hops are not strong, but why should they? It's a lager! Probably a little to thin for this type of beer. Drinkable.
