My first WIPA is a good one - Tanker Täiskuu
Tanker Täiskuu
There are still some beers from Estonia left. Actually only two. So while this is adventure is coming to an end I already filled the stash up with some new Finnish beers. But let's wait for them a little more.
What should I say: It starts with pouring the beer from a bottle into a glass and looking at the foam stability, which is ok. Also having a closer look onto the color by holding it against the light. Is gold yellow and hazy, basically what you would expect from a White IPA. The aroma is the typical citric hop yeast note. Nothing out of the ordinary, but also nothing off. First nip goes down very well. Pretty pleasant mouthfullness combined with a nice bitterness. Pretty good malt characteristic giving it a medium sweet taste and some dryness at the end. Carbonation is at its best.
Well produced classic White IPA. Nothing more to say.
