Sometimes its about a beers shelf life - Pässi IPA
Pässi IPA
Some months ago I had Mustan Virran Panimo's Grand Cru, which I liked. I thought it was time for another one. I looked into my stash (which had grown again) and got their IPA. Due date was still in range. I was very enthusiastic.
Until the first nip. It boils down to a harsh unpleasant bitterness, thin body, and a very light texture. From my point of view this beer, which according to best before was still good, wasn't anymore. The composition definitely wasn't that what the brew master indented and I could only guess how it would have tasted if I would have tasted it 3 month earlier.
But I didn't and so this beer doesn't live up to its promises. Definitely needs at least one month less shelf life time or an improved microbiology.
The beer was poured from a bottle
