Jälkipeli - Maistila poured in a glass

From the SOPP: Jälkipeli

Jälkipeli

As the beer tastings went on around me at the Sopp, I got some food and also some water. I always suggest to have water in between reviewing different beer. Otherwise you just remember the beer before.

Ok, so, I went for the Maistila brewery and got one of the Jälkipelis. Another sour of course.

Its color is dark yellow with a little haze in it. Foam is white and pretty stable. First nip goes down well. Let me put it that way: it comes with a pretty strong sourness which attacks very fast but also brings a light bitterness that hangs in there for some time with it. It is accompanied with some sweetness. Well balanced body. Carbonation could be less. It plays along very well. Texture is medium coarse.

Let's go for another one their brews.
