Sour Head Apricot

From the SOPP: Sour Head Apricot

Sour Head Apricot

As the evening grow late I went for another Sour. This time from the Coolhead Brewery, a brewery from Oulu, which of course I haven't heard of before. But that is what are Small Brewery festivals are for: getting to know new breweries!

I went for the Sour Head Apricot because the other Sour beers on the tap came with SLUSH mixed and that's something I really won't get into. The Coolhead brew master handed me over the beer and I happily went back to our table. Holding the glass against the light lets its nice cloudy yellowish color shine through. I notice the apricots immediately, besides that only some citric compounds came through.

First nip goes down very well. The sourness is definitely in. Well carbonated, good mouthfullness.

Personally I hope for a little more. Some extras here and there, but this is just my personal note. Well brewed beer.
