Phantom Oktoberfest

The original “Oktoberfest” occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810: For the commemoration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. Now, those of you old enough to remember Schoolhouse rock know that we Americans aren’t down with kings, but we do love to celebrate! This amber colored lager has a clean malty backbone with warm pie crust notes, hints of brown sugar and caramel mingling with subtle pitted fruit and vanilla.
