Pot o' Gold

Pot of Gold was originally brewed as part of the Shropshire Heroes and Legends series. A smooth-drinking 4.4 per cent bitter, it is brewed to mark the myth of the Bury Ditches fairy who is said to have hidden a pot of gold on the ancient south Shropshire hill fort, high above the Clun Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Anyone discovering a fine gold thread on the site will be led to the long-lost treasure. Pot of Gold is brewed using water drawn from deep underground in the nearby Corvedale.
