The Old Tempest Ale is our award-winning UK strong ale. A bold aroma of sherry, dried fruit, and hearty maltiness exudes from a thin, off-white head. A warm fermentation produces a rich, smooth, and slightly spicy flavor that masks the high alcohol content, perceived as gentle warming. Unfiltered by definition, subtle complexities enhance this bold and flavorful beer which only gets better with age.
