St. Stan's Maibock

St. Stan's Maibock is a thoroughly modern tribute to the beers originally brewed to sustain the monastic community during extended periods of fasting. A very high specific gravity yields a beer that is deceptively heavier on the palate than its Ale color would indicate. Slightly toasty and strong malt aromas balance the German Nobal hop flavors in this traditional German Lager. Extensive cold aging creates a creamy, smooth mouth feel.
